Back Pain research

The British Acupuncture Council have just released a short article about back pain.  Bringing together the recent draft NICE guidelines, recent research into Ibuprofen for back pain and reflecting on the aspiration that many health professionals share of a joined up approach to pain management... this article is food for thought.

There is no 'one size fits all' solution. Patient choice, tailored to each individual is key.
Acupuncture may not be for everyone, but as a natural (side-effect free) therapy with multiple benefits, it can offer you a powerful choice in managing pain naturally.
For sufferers of chronic pain, every week in clinic I see Acupuncture help - not only with the pain but the secondary effects of chronic pain, such as poor sleep, fatigue, low mood - with no negative side effects.

If you or someone you know is managing a chronic pain condition, I'm always happy to chat.
